Death by Moe

Ibuki “DOZO! Have a starfish!” Fuuko started getting on my nerves so I decided to take a break from CLANNAD. So what have I got to say this time? Well, nothing really. I’m just extremely bored.

Site Updates:

Not much, but I did update my About page again. Am I vain to like talking about myself so much? Perhaps, but I honestly don’t really care. I haven’t done much blogging aside Drama CD reviews either. Somehow, I just can’t bring myself to watch anime lately … or at least anything aside Nabari no Ou and Code Geass’ weekly insanities. While I’m at it, I’d like to express my disappointment in Kouichi. It makes me sad that his backstory was everything I guessed. And will Yukimi ever get his moment? At this point, I am doubting it. If I can’t force myself to sit down and catch up on what I missed, then I might start my weekly Top Ten Anime Guys thing … which is something I’ve been wanting to do ever since FuyuMaiden started her Top Ten Anime Girls. Well, before that happens, I’m going to have to come up with a more or less stable ranking though (you can count on Lulu, Matt, L, Tomoya and Kamina to be in there for sure though)

Anime/Manga:

As I said, I’m late by at least an episode in the majority of shows I’m following. The only ones I’m steadily watching as the subs come out are Code Geass and Nabari no Ou. It’s funny how free time can fool you into thinking you have all the time in the world. Yep, I just realized that there’s a month before school starts up again. Knowing me, I’ll probably marathon what I’m behind on when the letter from school shows up in the mail. That’ll be my barometer. Manga-wise, I’m not following much. I’m still patiently -laughs- waiting for Mistress Fortun. Naruto and TRC are the only other manga I’m reading. But, I’ve fallen behind on Naruto again. I somehow can’t bring myself to read it when I see Sasubitchfa- euh, I mean … Sasuke’s face.

CLANNAD:

I’m playing through Tomoyo’s route steadily now. Fuuko’s appearances are getting on my nerves but I’ll get through it somehow. Since this isn’t my “Tomoyo’s Route” review post, I won’t say anything just yet. I will say that I’m surprised though. I thought I’d be annoying playing her route after having watched her OVA but I’m enjoying myself. It’s probably because all the drama isn’t squeezed into one 23-minute episode.

Somehow, I’m really really starting to think it was KyoAni’s intention to put some of the audience on Nagisa’s side. She hasn’t appeared for quite a while and I miss her. -shoots self-

Life:

Not that anyone cares about this section but I’ll rant on anyway. It’s my blog, right? Number one: It’s two days before Breaking Dawn’s release. I’m trying not to think much of it, but I’ve been stalking stepheniemeyer.com every hour now in the case updates might show up. The wait is killing me, but having already waited an entire year, I can wait two more days.

Tomorrow, my friend’s family is going to stay over for two nights and my brother’s wife’s friend are going to show up sometime too. Ugh, meaning we’ve got many visitors coming over. I don’t mind my friend coming over of course! But I just hate visitors. Anyone reading this can relate right? I thought so, so I won’t explain myself.

Alright, I think I ranted enough. Back to “Dozo, have a starfish.” … Ugh. I miss Nagisa.
