CLANNAD: Yukine’s Route

So far, this is the route that took me the longest to do. I don’t expect this post will be long because I was extremely bored playing through Yukine’s route. It just dragged on and on and nothing really happened either. It’s just Tomoya (and eventually Pornohar- euh, Sunohara too) visiting Yukine every day in the reference room. Plus, it didn’t seem like there was anything special with Tomoya and Yukine until she borrowed his lap and Tomoya became substitute onii-chan. Once again, Sunohara had all the glory this route. I’m starting to wonder if all the routes will feature him this way because its three out of three so far.

Now, what’s there to say? I don’t particularly like Yukine, nor do I hate her. I’ll admit, her spells are entertaining but that’s about it. If I had to say, her personality is quite annoying. If there’s one thing I enjoyed about this route, it’d be Sunohara again.

Her story didn’t get interesting until the very very end when Yukine spoke about her brother. The ending felt a little bit anti-climatic but sweet nonetheless. Before that, it just dragged on and on. I didn’t think I’d ever finish her route. I’m finally glad its over though. I can finally do Kyou and Ryou’s route now. But Yukine’s route was a mouthful so I think I’ll be taking a break from CLANNAD for a while. I just downloaded Hinano’s RenAi Blogger game so I’m going to run off and play it now.

If you don’t mind me asking are you running the version of clannad made available on hongfire? Also where might i find this 300hour walkthrough you mentioned in a previous blog entry.

That’s the link to the walkthrough I’m using. So far, it hasn’t failed me. And yes I download the game from the links on Hongfire. =D
