Skip Beat! 04-05

Sorry for the late post. I would’ve posted sooner but wordpress was seriously backfiring on me. It wouldn’t upload the screenshots and I was much to lazy to upload them on photobucket. On another hand, I’m starting to enjoy Skip Beat! the anime more. Maybe it’s the quality of the RAW, but the animation feels smoother and a little less bland. There’s been less white flash screens of death and the scenes seem funnier to me somehow. Or maybe I’m just happy Ren’s getting his screentime.
Though, watching the anime just makes me more anxious about the manga. The one month between chapters are so harsh they kill me. I need more distractions.
SUPER SAIYAN!
So this week the pink jumpsuits finally make their appearance! Kyoko jumps back on her feet after getting pissed at Sho for not recognizing her. I’m waiting for her Kamehameha him but her hilarious fantasies of Sho acknowledging Kyoko as ‘damn awesome’ is fine too.
SELF-CEST?!
I giggled so much. Too much. It was worst because my computer froze and had it stuck on that screen for two minutes. Sho is the solidification of narcissism itself. He always always crack me up. Considering how my best friend is pretty much a narcissist, it’s difficult to hate them. It’s probably why I laugh at Sho instead of hating him. Narcissists are hilarious types of people after all … and it has nothing to do with the sense of humour.
This is what I meant by the animation getting a little bit better. It’s all over the place but at least there’s color, sparkles and flowers. What the hell is shoujo with color, sparkles and flowers anyway?
(Say, say, say, is my wittiness coming back? If only just a bit?)
Oh yeah, I’m adding this to the list of embarrassing poses I should do IRL. So here’s the poll for the day!
If it meant I could meet Ren, I’d work in the Love Me section without a second thought. Just imagine hearing Ren’s sweet voice everyday. Ah, ’tis the life and wishes of a fangirl!
Oh yeah, tension thunder. What’s epic/comedic mental fights without tension thunder hmm? It looks completely one-sided on Sho’s side though.
Anyways, this scene is the first scene I preferred over the manga. Only a tad bit, but I liked the anime one better. Well, not that I remember the manga clearly anyway. Still, KoniTan’s voice did me in. I couldn’t help it.
Rapunzel, rapunzel! Why has thou hair gotten so short?
Despite it all, Kyoko’s a naive and innocent character. Despite it all, she’s also really simple-minded which is what I love about her as well. I have a soft spot for characters with contradicting personalities. They always tend to be the most original and interesting characters after all. Ren’s probably the most contradicting in Skip Beat! though. You’re never really sure what chara he is after all. Of course, what am I expecting from an actor who’s everyday self is an act … Speaking of which:
CORN! It’s in black and white and from the back but … CORN! Corn banzai! BANZAI!
Ahem. I do hope the anime gets to the whole corn affair because it’s what I really want to see animated. What’s gets second is the Dark Moon arc, of course … but then I highly doubt they won’t animate that. I think they’ll shorten it though since the arc was pretty long from what I remembered. And no, I don’t really care about the arc where Kyoko acted in Sho’s music PV. Okay actually, I care just a little. I got a a little teary in that arc after all.
COR- …euh, woups, too much Corn fangirling. Ahem. REN!

Anyways, I’m looking forward to next week since the more interesting things are going to start soon. Namely, Kyoko’s acting. I’m not looking forward to Ruriko’s bitching though. Oh well.
And about next week, I might be a little too busy to post. I’ll try to but there’s no guarantee considering the amount of work we’ve got due. I’ve two exams to study for as well as an animation project to prepare. It’s going to be a brutal week next week. -sobs-

Yeah. Ren has pretty much reminded me of every shojo manga type of main male character ever created at some point or another in the manga. Kyoko is cool becuase she’s both awesome and cute.
Self-ces. ROFL. when I saw that image for the first time I thought Sho had found his one true love.
Corn! He’s already in the opening so I’m sure they’ll get around to animating him in the show.
