[Filler] I won't die just yet!

So, I’ve been under this “I don’t want to force myself to do anything” type mood lately. It’s actually quite relaxing and I feel like I’ve gotten a huge load of my back. The nagging habit of thinking I have the responsability to post anime-related posts finally subsided. But here I am anyway, writing a post. Looks like I can’t stay away from my blog after all.

Nothing much changed. I haven’t been watching much anime but I have been keeping up with CLANNAD, Gundam 00, Natsume Yuujincho and Skip Beat! I also started following Bakuman weekly which is rare considering how I don’t follow manga often. Oh and I started watching Honey and Clover too … after a two year hiatus. Now and then I feel like writing an episode post but when it comes to it I just can’t bring myself to anymore. Maybe I’m tired of being witty and just want to sit down and enjoy what I’m watching … or not. (Despite all the “drama” of Gundam 00, it still cracks me up. Seriously “Set-chan going through innovation”? That’s hilarious. Well, it’s also sad when I think I named my PC “Set-Chan” and it’s not innovating. Haha. I wish.)

It shouldn’t come to a surprise but, I’m still head over heels with Hetalia. I can’t seem to get it out of my mind. This state of 24/7 fangirling is odd. It’s much worst than the Oofuri period. Speaking of Oofuri, I read chapter 19 as soon as I saw it appear on onemanga. Ah, I miss Oofuri. Mihashi’s still my cute little chicken face. How could I ever not fangirl over him? But back to Hetalia.

We’re six episodes into the anime and while I absolutely can’t get used to non-moe-Japan, I’m finding myself quite entertained by the short five minute comedy Hetalia provides me with. Episode 6 was particularly funny. I love how they jump from here to there and just abour everywhere during an episode while still making sense. Plus, nothing beats a few “Kono Obaka-san!”s thrown around. Austria doesn’t nearly get enough time to say it so often. Sasanuma Akira is great. When I get a new iPod (because my current one is out of order), I’m downloading a bunch of Drama CDs he features in … not that I think there are many but still. My G5 Colored Rangers still need more screentime though. Will I ever get some more England spatting at America? Oh and is Chibitalia and HRE ever going to get their scenes? I’ve been dying for a voiced “I’ve loved you since the 900s!” ever since I read the strip. Though, something tells me the anime won’t provide any of the dramatic parts of Hetalia. There’s always the Drama CDs though!

Speaking of which, I absolutely can’t wait for the Character CDs and DVDs. Obviously, I’m going to have to find a way to GET the damn things but … trust me, I will. I can’t get the soon-to-be-real fantasy of Germany singing “Maru Kaite Chikyuu” out of my mind. I don’t I’ve ever heard Yasumoto Hiroki sing so this will be a first. Seeing as how I’ve already heard the rest of the Hetalia cast (who will have a character CD) sing, I’m definitely looking forward to it. Oh wait, I haven’t heard Takato Yasuhiro sing though. Waa ~ that’s bound to be cute with his voice. Oh ~ and there’s Onosaka Masaya as well … hmm … that’s bound to be … very France-like ~ for a lack of a more appropriate word.

Last bit of info, it seems to me like my blog is slowly reaching 100k hits. I’ll try to plan something nice when I see the count reach 100, 000! Talk about a milesone to be noted! Ah, not that I’m pressuring anyone of anything, but it’d be so awesome to reach that count before my birthday. Looking at the rate it’s going up, it’s certainly possible!
