Osaka arc! I haven’t even watched this episode yet and I’m already looking forward to the next one. Whether or not that’s at good thing, I haven’t a clue. Well, that said I’m writing this post as I watch so I’m probably not going to have anything coherent again. Hai! Ikimasuu ~

(Well while the OP is playing, just wanted to say I was watching BLEACH Sonic Soul ’05 beforehand. FukuJun and Yasumoto-san are really really hot. Yusa has a lot of fangirls. Non-Tan is absolutely adorable and Miyata-san is fun. God knows how much I wanna go to a seiyuu live e-! OP’s over)

Romantica angst?! … ugh. This is the romantica arc I probably least enjoyed. The angst doesn’t really suit them. Plus, Usagi looks freaky in that shot. (Though, I’ll admit Misaki’s being a bitch … when is Usagi-nii coming? T_T)

LOLOLOLOLOL! Isn’t that Hiroki’s hat? And why does Misaki look like he’s 10 years younger? Oh god.

Much better ❤

Someone get the boobs out of my BL, please.

It’s funny how Misaki’s quick to defend Usagi without shame and it still can’t say simple words like “Suki desu!” until like volume eight or nine or whatever.

I bet Usagi wishes Suzuki could talk … yep, any minute now he’s going to go loopy and start talking to him. “I NEED MY MISAKI DOSE!!! T_T -sobsob- T_T” or something.

Aaaaany minute now …

… any minute now …

SEEE!!!! -runs around room triumphant-

-coughs- Moving on …

Usagi: I tried making an omelette but the egg exploded …
Misaki: … EH!?

(no idea what Usagi said but it involved an exploding egg … I have to wait for subs to make sure XD)

LE GASP!!! It’s the black screen! YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?! The smex is a coming …

Aha! Naichatta! ❤

“I’m going to come and fuck you so wait there.”

“OH NO! I’m screwed!”

It’s probably because of the “angst” but … we didn’t get much chibi this episode. Which is sad since it became a sort of trademark … Suzuki-san aside. Well, I’m glad we’ll be back to slapstick Romantica after this.

What is Misaki without those big eyes of his? Uwaaa ❤

How Usagi got the damn that train is a mystery. -reminds herself this is BL-

I don’t really like this arc but the train smex is one of my favorite ones … haha, if just for Misaki’s “Iyada! Hazukashii ><”

I think Japan’s trains are absolutely awesome. I wish that kind of service existed here too.

(My mom just went in my room. Man am I glad the H-scene already passed or I would’ve been screwed.)

HAHA! Yorokonderu! ❤

(Misaki can think embarrassing thoughts like “I’m not being cautious. I just want Usagi-san to be happy” and he STILL can’t say “suki desu!” … I don’t know why, but this is really frustrating me right now)

Yep. This is the Romantica I know. (Thank God the angst is over. Drama is Egoist’s job)

And thus is the end of a more or less interesting episode of Junjo. Squee level? Less than zero point five. I didn’t really have fun in this arc in the Drama CDs or Manga either and the anime version was more or less the same. Well, I’m happy that they fixed the lack of BGM. The after the episode scene was Usagi’s marimo … thing.

BUT!

NEXT WEEK IS JUNJO MINIMUM!!

Delivering Misaki and Usagi in a package of loli cuteness! MOE LEVEL UPPPP!!!

(God knows how much I want next week to come now. With no Geass this week, I’m going to be bored this weekend ==; )

-runs off to open window first, shivers then closes-

Well, it isn’t summer yet even though we’re nearly June! I’m not sure if I’m supposed to be happy or not so I’ll just move on.

The Summer Anime season is coming soon. I haven’t really made my round of the shows airing for summer so that post is still pretty far. That chocolate show looks pretty interesting though. I bet Mello would blow up whoever thought it up though.

Junjo Romantica: After seven episodes, Junjo’s basically everything I want and thought it would be. Usagi and Misaki brings the jabs while Hiroki and Nowaki brings the drama. What’ll Terrorist bring? A mix of the two I guess. The lack of BGM bothers me sometimes but that’s probably because I’m so used to the Drama CDs. At any rate, were I not a BL fangirl I’d probably be pocking fun at Junjo like I do at MonoKuro and Amatsuki instead of fangirling and giggling. B(L)INGO anyone? I need moar humor.

Code Geass R2: It pisses me off to a great extent the number of cliffhangers CG is using. Really Sunrise, can’t you do better? But things are getting better … if you can call one million zeros (and one dog) getting better, that is. Someone needs to go throw Nunally off a cliff and get Suzaku and Lulu to marrry each other like in Shirley’s fantasies. Because we all know Lulu’s canonly (!?) gay after getting rejected by Kallen and getting comforted by Rolo. Let’s all hope that everything building up in CG will come down to something coherent. Despite how much I enjoyed the homo-fun, I don’t want another Gundam 00. (With Virtue and Kyrios in CG, all we’re missing is Suzaku to go “I AM GUNDAM” and I’m gone)

Macross Frontier: I’ll be satisfied when someone forces Alto in a skirt.

Nabari no Ou: As long as it continues in the direction its going, I’ll be happy. I don’t want Nabari to go all Naruto on me and start having fights, wars and all that crap. I want my character development and that’s it. Action from time to time to add to the development is fine. Just the way its been since the beginning. Nabari’s got a lot of potential. Despite the numerous jabs I can make about Yoite’s lines and Sensei’s pedophillia, I won’t.

Monochrome Factor: I want that big-breasted bitch and Aya out.

Special A: I’d throw a rock at Hikari but it probably wouldn’t hurt her. I know, I know. It’s anime and in this kind of anime the OTP never really becomes a frikken couple. I feel bad for you Kei, really. Episode 07 was gold, btw. Akira’s a mad genius and I love her. Tadashi and her are a great manzai combi. Their jabs are usually what I enjoy most about an anime. And no, I do not like Kei’s party hair.

Amatsuki: I’m just watching this for the cast. Really, it’s hard not watch a show when over five of your favorite seiyuus are in it. This is absolutely ridiculous yes, but really that doesn’t matter anymore. (EDIT: Just watched episode six and it looks like Hime was originally a guy … Shinshu was calling him/her Niisama after all)

Soul Eater: … OMG, I have nothing to say. Well except for the fact that its pissing me off not knowing Chrona’s gender. There are far to many traps this season. Has it become a trend or something? Damn. (We need moar Black Star, Soul moments)

Vampire Knight: I’m two episodes behind. Maybe the more-or-less sexual tension between Zero and Yuki got to more than it should. It’s also freaking me out how emo this shoujo can get. I don’t remember the manga being that dark.

Druaga: I’m a LOT of episodes behind but I’m thinking of watching this again soon because of how much fun I can poke at it. Episode five gender-switching? Count me in. (Plus, I’ve got my Sakupyon dose in here. It pains me hearing his voice on Suzaku who I’m hating more and more)

Wagaya no Oinari-Sama: I’m behind on this too. I don’t see male Kuu-chan in the screenshots much so I sort of lost interest. (Yes, I took this up for Yuutan’s sake)

After a long day at school (and two detentions DX) , I am glad to be back home at my desk doing absolutely nothing. Well, at least here is better than in detentions where the only thing I can do is stare at the bland white walls. Plus, I couldn’t think of scenes to put in Dark Crimson because iPods are obviously not allowed and white walls aren’t very inspiring. I managed to make the minutes pass faster by replaying lines from Kyuuso was Cheese no Yume wo Miru which was the Drama I somehow managed to finish before getting to the detention room. Then somehow I ran out of lines to remember and just had Yusa’s “Want me to string you along?” replaying over and over for about five minutes before I realized I wasn’t thinking about anything anymore. Ahem, I think I’m boring everyone with my useless talk so onto the main point.

So I got home, checked a few blogs, checked some releases, wandered DA and barely half an hour later I found myself bored. I was staring at L over my monitor and finally decided: LET’S TAKE PICTURES OF MY ROOM AND POST THEM!! LOLOLOLOLOLO, like a n00b. I tend to go nuts in my mind when I’m really bored.

PICTURES AFTER THE BREAK! (more…)

After reading a certain post in FuyuMaiden’s blog Simplicity, I suddenly got the urge to rant talk about someone I adored. In this case, it isn’t an anime character (but maybe I’ll do that one day) but a seiyuu; Kamiya Hiroshi whose most recent role in anime is Kengo from Monokuro ❤ EDIT: AND Mikhail from Macross -shoots self for not remembering-

I was originally going to rant talk about Sakupyon … since he’s my favorite and all … but since I just finished listening to Subete wa Kono Yoru ni (in which Kamiyan is uke) so I decided it would be more appropriate to talk about him. Also, the single for Monochrome Factor’s ED “Awake ~boku no subete~” was just released today so all the more reason to spread Kamiyan love! Awake is a duet with Ono Daisuke and Kamiyan, by the way.

Okay, so where do I start? Well, I knew Kamiyan his voice at least since hearing it in Zetsubo Sensei but my seiyuu fangirl-mode did not exist at the time and I kinda had the impression all male seiyuus sounded the same. Oh the shame!

I discovered his awesomeness around the time when Gundam 00 started airing (last fall was it?) with his role as Tieria. But it wasn’t Tieria that made me recognize Kamiya. Hell, I didn’t even know Tieria was voiced by Kamiya yet. I only cared for Gundam 00 because of Mamo. Anyways, it was around when episode eight or nine of 00 came out that I listened to Shinayaka na Netsujo … which is prolly the BLCD that made everyone fawn over Kamiya’s aegi koe. I heard about its awesome H-scene for a long time beforehand but when I heard it for myself … really, wow. I was speechless, red and giggling. Even now, just thinking about it makes me break into fangirl laughter. If you have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about, I’m sorry.

After that, I scouted out more Drama CDs with Kamiya and started paying more attention to when he’d show up in anime. Imagine my shock when I learned Kamiya was voicing Tieria and MikiShin Lockon (which, BTW, is the pairing in Shinayaka na Netsujou) …

The most recently place I heard Kamiya, as I said, was in Subete wa Kono Yoru ni. I’m not writing this post to review that Drama but it was an AWESOME listen. As expected from something written by Aida Saki

(DEADLOCK). It makes me laugh how many of the characters I hear Kamiya do in BLCDs are pretty … pathetic, for lack of a better word -is thinking of Kotohana no Hana- … even so, Kamiyan acts them so well I find myself saying “POOR HIM!” about ten times a track. I don’t know how to put this into words but there’s something about Kamiya’s voice that makes me sympathize with every character he does. That said, after a long intro, let me try putting into words why I love Kamiya’s voice so much!

First of all, his singing voice. Yeah, I’m listening to AWAKE right now and can’t help myself. There’s just something really ‘elegant’ about his voice. At first, I think it comes off as a bit nasally … especially when he screams or talks loud … but past that, I can’t help but place the word beautiful when thinking of Kamiya (the image of a tall, handsome guy who wears glasses always come to mind). And though the real Kamiya doesn’t have glasses, I still do think he’s pretty beautiful in RL.

Most characters he does (in BLCDs at least) are pretty much always the “bijin” types (like Tieria). Like I said, because of Kamiya’s voice, I can’t help but really sympathize with the character and what their going through. Whenever he does those depressing monologues, they sound so real I could cry. And when he cries … man am I touched. It’s not as good as NojiKen’s cries in Nejireta Edge (I highly doubt ANY crying could beat that) but it’s very believeable … well some more than other roles. If its the most real crying he’s done we’re talking about then the one in Shounen Yonkei is the best one I’ve heard so far.

Bijins aside, Kamiya also does the “genki” type. Kengo anyone? Sometimes his “AKIRAAAAAA”s can be annoying because of that nasal tone he has when he shouts but that said, I really love hearing Kamiya’s voice in such a “idiot” role since its something I don’t hear very often. I don’t count Itoshiki-sensei in this category … Sensei has his own category. It’s probably because of Kamiya, but Itoshiki’s a damned awesome character. While I’m at it, let me take this opportunity to praise “Zesshou” … Sensei’s chara song sang by Kamiya. It’s absolutely beautiful and if you haven’t heard it yet … then what are you doing? Go listen to it NAO!

Last category is the “bijin hetare” type. Well, its not really a category since I only heard Kamiya do one role in that category but I really wanted to talk about it so yeah. I’m talking about Kamiya’s role in “Hero Academy J” which is a total crack Drama CD. I’m pretty sure I haven’t made a post about that drama but it’s absolute nonsense. It’s the type of thing you listen to because you want to laugh and just laugh. -breaks into fangirl laughs thinking about Yusa’s maso-ness- Anyways, in this drama Kamiya does a cute, angel-looking character who’s socially awkward and hides in the closet a lot. Kamiya’s voice reminded me of Ishida doing a chibi-Gaara and damn was it cute. I found myself giggling and smiling every time Kamiya went “Boku o Minaide!” … honestly, how can you not?

And since I mentioned it higher up, if your watching MonoKuro and enjoying it get the ED single NAO, if just for the Kengo and Akira mini-drama. Akira is such a tsundere. Man do I love OnoDxKamiyan pairings … I’ll get to that later. The full version of Awake is awesome. I absolutely love how their two voices blend together. Some of the higher notes were a total miss but I’ll pretend I didn’t hear them.

So about, Ono and Kamiya.

Kotonoha no Hana is my favorite BLCD of all time but I already reviewed it so I won’t be talking about its beauty here. Anyways, because of KnH I’ve developed an immediate liking to Ono and Kamiya. I absolutely love the chemistry between these two. For something recent, think MonoKuro. Plus it’s fun how the chemistry still works when Kamiya’s seme.

From what I’ve written, its obvious I like uke-Kamiya more but I forced myself to listen to a drama in which he tops for the sake of … well, for the sake of it. Said drama is Reload … where Kamiya tops Ono for once. I’m not fond of dramas where Kamiya uses a really really serious tone (like in Koi ni Inochi wo Kakeru no sa) but I made an exception for Reload where his voice was downright sexy.

I think I’ve go on long enough. The word count seems to have pass a thousand and the fact itself is scaring me. I’d better end this before I reach another hundred … Plus I think I ranted more than anything. Sorry to those who got this far.

Kamiya is awesome.

Just finished writing chapter five of what’s supposed to be the final version of Dark Crimson. Yes, yes. I have written many previous posts on my progress but those were all prototypes and experiments and it looks like the final version is COMPLETELY different from what DC was at the start at its birth. You know your tastes has changed greatly when you go from innocent not-BL epic story to tragic but beautiful angsty BL. Anyways, I’m at nearly 30 pages into it and I’m not slowing down. I’m on fire! MOERUZEEE! The story and many details aren’t clear in my head but I learned that giving meaning and details to everything isn’t a very good idea.

No! I have NOT failed for … -counts- eight months, I just one-hundred and eight ways to NOT write a novel. Yep, that’s progress I tell you. (I’m pretty sure I just quoted someone from American history … who it is though I’m not sure)

My deadline to finish DC for July 29th has not changed. I still plan on making it and if I keep this pace up I’ll be done in no time whatsoever. I’m just hoping all my hype won’t make my creativity go away because I’m a real roll this time. It kinda scares me how Scythe got to kiss Kira already in just five chapters and under thirty pages. Hopefully my pace isn’t too quick. Ugh, I really need a beta reader.

So that aside, there are about 15 days of school left. Here I thought I’d get through the rest of the year without problems and I land myself in detention the second after having that thought. Irony? NO A CONSPIRACY! I kind of forgot to set my alarm this morning and ended up skipping first period. Frikken lady, being the crap she is, gave me two frikken detentions for it. Bitch. One on thursday and one next week so it seems. Luckily school finishes at 2:20 and detentions are just half an hour I think … so that isn’t so bad. The thought of 15 days is the only thing keeping me going honestly. I’m glad I’m going back to my old school next year … really. If not for that thought I’d be dead right now.

Woups, sorry I ended up talking about something useless again. Here’s a waiter-lulu apology shot:

I’d erase Kallen and C.C but I’m lazy. Yes, I took this picture for the sake of a waiter-lulu and his yummy thin waist. Hurray thin waists.

Pairings:

Midorikawa Hikaru x Miki Shinnichirou
Narita Ken x Kishio Daisuke
Morikawa Toshiyuki x Sakurai Takahiro
Horiuchi Kenyuu x Kamiya Hiroshi

Review:

After a good two months, I finally got around to listening to Shounen Yonkei. I was attracted to this drama for merely the pairings and because I heard quite a bit about it. I wasn’t sure what it was about though so I got really curious. After downloading it though, it wasted away in storage until I remembered it some few days ago. I listened to it and felt like bawling right after.

Shounen Yonkei is a two CD drama and in each CD there are two stories. Each story is a separate all of different but treating the same theme. I really loved the whole feel this drama gave off and I agree with the seiyuus when they said that it didn’t really feel like BL, so to speak. Sure, it WAS BL and there was smex. But there’s something about this drama that makes it feel so real that you don’t even think its BL anymore. The running theme was something like “separation” but not really “separation” in itself. Well, the first story with MikiShin and Midorin was fairly happy though. I don’t remember the stories perfectly since I was sort of multi-tasking when I was listening to this but they were all pretty sad.

The first story with Midorin and MikiShin was a story where Midorin’s character was MikiShin’s character’s dog. The second was with a two childhood friends running away after one them killed someone (?) The third was happening during a war and Sakurai’s character was a foreigner who loved Japan and MoriMori and military man who hated it. Finally, the fourth is a story where Kamiya’s character goes on some sort of road trip with Horiuchi’s character until the gas runs out.

The third and fourth were the ones I remembered to be most touching. I haven’t heard Sakupyon in a while so that might be at fault but it was a really sad story. Oh, did I mention how all of these stories have extremely open endings? The fourth was real sad though I’m not sure of its context. Kamiya’s crying had me going really but I guess it doesn’t beat NojiKen’s performance in Nejireta Edge.

As for the H-Scenes, having treated four pairings there’s good number of them but they are definitely not the main attraction. This is a definitely a drama to listen to if you’re expecting some tears and story. I really recommend it because it’s an absolute beauty. I haven’t heard anything like it.

Its beauty is different from Kotohana no Hana’s beauty but beauty is beauty just the same. (Four beauties in a phrase? Oh my)

((You know what I need?! I need a rating system … -grumbles off to think of one-))

Mah. Gawd.

I’m having Scythe and SuzuKen overload lately. Actually, super DAI DAI DAAAAAIIIII Suzu overload its probably what’s affecting Scythe’s personality. Ryutaros is so adorable. I think I’m going to collapse. Gun Form is so AWESOME!!!! Next is Ura-chan because of Yusa ❤

Yeah. I did this poll thingy tho’ that basically ranks male seiyuus according to your preferences. I got 10 number ones so I basically concluded they were my top ten.

1 櫻井孝宏 (Sakurai Takahiro)
2 下野紘 (Shimono Hiro)
3 鈴村健一 (Suzumura Kenichi)
4 諏訪部順一 (Suwabe Junichi)
5 中村悠一 (Nakamura Yuuichi)
6 成田剣 (Narita Ken)
7 野島健児 (Nojima Kenji)
8 福山潤 (Fukuyama Jun)
9 保志総一朗 (Hoshi Souichirou)
10 遊佐浩二 (Yusa Kouji)

It’s ALMOST perfectly accurate. Yusa and FukuJun should arrive after Yuutan tho’. Suwabe would go before NariKen and Kamiyan after Suzu. I’m also kinda sad Mamo didn’t get in. Ishida was pretty close too tho’ and Miyu Irino too.

Basically …

1 Sakupyon, 2 Shimono, 3 Suzu, 4 Kamiyan, 5 Yuutan, 6 FukuJun, 7 Yusa, 8 Suwabe, 9 NariKen and 10 NojiKen
The poll is pretty long tho’ T_T but it was fun so yeah.

Here’s a Chara Sheet (sketched) of Scythe. I was bored and drew in in history. Really, Suzu overload’s made it so that every time I write its Suzu’s voice I hear on Scythe. T_T Srry, NojiKen. Tho’ now it makes it more fun ‘cuz Kira’s voiced by Sakurai still in my mind. Four chapters of DC are already written while I’m at it. XD

Here’s Kira while I’m at it. I kinda made him a little too skinny but … wtv. Kira is love. Suzu and Sakupyon is love. BL is love. BANZAI!

(Just finished Shounen Yonkei. I’ll rant about it tomorrow. But I’ll say this … it was the prettiest thing I’ve heard in a while. How the FUCK did MikiShin and Midorin not get on my top ten again?! CRAP)
