OMG! Farenheit!!! -panics-
Yeah, I won’t even try and supress all the fangirl squeals I want to let out. Arinachi’s manga is the only manga I can read without getting frustrated about the cliches. Absolutely no surprises for me in this chapter, it’s everything I guess it would be and for once, it didn’t make the chapter any less enjoyable. It was mostly all fluffy drama so there wasn’t any time for Gin-chan’s perverted comments but hey, at least we got those cute/funny Kisaki moments in America. I learned two really weird things from this manga. One, arm fat is proof you have breasts and two, lettuce floats in carbonated water. Totally educational.
If you didn’t notice, I’m not holding back on spoilers. In the space of 6-7 pages (I think) Kisaki and Gin-chan decide to run away together and fail. Then, the commander convinces Kisaki to go to America for the sake of Gin-chan’s mother. Of course, she ends up going but not before Gin-chan gets his confession moment. That doesn’t stop Kisaki from leaving though and of course, Kisaki doesn’t say the truth of it either. Ah, fluffy drama.
Kisaki leaves and Gin-chan’s being … frustrated? about it. I don’t think that word fits quite right but he was cute and that’s the point. (Need I mention that I never realized that the commander was a guy until I listened to the VOMIC? OTL)
I’m not sure if this is supposed to be -10 for throwing away the letter or +40 for doing it in such a cute way. That’s being tsundere, right? Right?! If Mistress Fortune was longer, Gin-chan would make my Top Ten Guys eventually.
Honestly? I don’t like that outfit. Bring back the angel-like frilly and pink outfit! Or screw that and just get Gin-chan in America already! … Because I knew it was coming
When I said it, I meant “ironically timed arrival of the guy”.
And of course, every single problem ends up being solved as how all fluffy dramas are solved.
After this, Kisaki and Gin-chan visit Gin-chan’s mother in the hospital where Kisaki attempts to talk to her through telepathy. Whaddya know? It works. Then there’s the usual end narration and the end. I let a big “no!” at the end because it was so short-lived. I’m praying for an omake to show up one day with the kiss we didn’t get.
It’s three chapters long so I can’t really make say anything. It was cute, it was fluff, it was fun. It was cute. I loved it and I’m going to miss Gin-chan like mad after this. At least there’s still the VOMICs where I can listen to Suzu’s great Gin-chan.
Andohbytheway, sorry for the lack of posts lately. Life finally caught up with less than week before school starting and my mom needing to fly off to Philippines to see my grandmother who isn’t in very good health at the moment. I probably won’t have much time to post things aside the usual weekly updates and Top Ten Anime Guys post. I’ll try and get to Antique Bakery when subs come out though. Honestly, at this point though, I’m kinda glad I’ll have things to keep me busy. I was bored stiff before all this drama happened.
