Sorry for the long long long intermission between my impressions post. I didn’t realize my time to watch anime would be so greatly reduced. I haven’t even had the time to check a lot of the fall stuff I wanted to see. Hell, I might even be dropping Kuroshitsuji because blogging three shows is difficult enough for me.
(considering how a single post takes me usually from 90 to 120 minutes)
I love hearing Yocchi (Yoshino Hiroyuki) in anime because for some odd reason I don’t really like the drama CDs I hear him in. The first episode was extremely confusing. Beyond confusing actually. And I loved it. I tend to like these sort of horror, mystery thrillers in which your not really sure what the hell is happening. The episode was all over the place and yet, in itself, it made sense. I can’t figure anything out and I can’t anticipate anything either … which is a first since I usually have a theory or two. Takkun’s “Those eyes, whose eyes are they?” line scare me and Yocchi’s panic voice is great. Very very well done. But since Yocchi’s voice reminds me of Hoshi Souichirou’s … I get Keiichi flashbacks. I’m obviously going to continue this but I give up on trying to blog it. I have nothing I wanna say except. I DON’T GET IT. I DON’T GET IT. I ARE CONFUZZLED and whatnot.
Well, this was odd. I don’t think I’ve ever watched space sci-fi before so it was odd. Of course, I decided on tihs because of the cast; Kishio Daisuke, Konishi Katsuyuki, Yoshino Hiroyuki, Takashi Kondou and, to my surprise, Kamiya Hiroshi was present as well. It was mostly for Daisaku (Kishio) though since it isn’t often I get to hear him in anime. I only remember him from La Corda D’Oro (Yunoki), Junjo Romantica (Shinobu) and Mermaid Melody (Kaito) … Oh and Kaname from Vampire Knight. I didn’t like his character much in this though. Much to serious for my taste. I’m leaning towards KoniTan’s group. The first episode was interesting but this isn’t my type of anime honestly. I’ll pass.
(I love the ED to this anime though … and OP was well … different … haha?)
I mentioned how much I liked Kaji Yuuki before, right? Him and OnoD are my reason for watching this … at first at least. I read the first chapter when I went to CHAPTERS sometime ago so my interest tripled. At this point though, I like the manga much more … since the art is so beautiful. But Kaji Yuuki’s voice is … well, I can’t stay away from it. The music in this anime is really nice too. The OP is one of my favorites of the season … probably. I saying these really thoughtless things. Sigh, I’d love to watch continue this if I have time. I hate how all my free time has vanished this year.
