(I wrote this post a week ago and for some reason didn’t post it … The things I put in parentheses are the stuff I added to the original post)
This episode caught me off guard. I’m seriously squealing and giggling my heart out. Like really. My heart’s melting and I’m going to die from all this moe. I love you Misaki. I love you Usagi. My love for Romantica has returned. Love, love, love ~ Get it yet? I’m going to be in this fangirl mood for a while.
Anyways. Basically, Misaki says the words ‘Usagi no koto ga suki da~’ … FINALLY … without any shame whatsoever. The reason I was surprised was because I expected them to keep that for the end. Oh gods am I happy that I’m wrong. I thought I liked the Sumi episode but this one just PWNED. I giggled so much.
I get this feeling I’ll end up like Aikawa one day …
From this episode on, I’ve got absolutely no idea what’ll be happening next. I haven’t seen the manga this far with the exception of a few scenes. For example when Usagi runs into Hiroki and Nowaki; a scene I hope to see in the anime. That’s probably what had me moe-ing more than usual. I was clueless about what could happen this week.
So this week Usagi is being scolded by Aikawa-san because he can’t write a normal date scene. Thus, Aikawa tells Misaki to teach Usagi. And even though Misaki has virtually zero experience, he accepts because of his manly pride. This is where I thought I get a cute date episode but no, Usagi’s family matters butt in again and I was disapointed. Haven’t we had enough of this?
Seriously, I want one of these.
Haruhiko, Akihiko and Fuyuhiko … I’m seeing a pattern here. Where the hell is Natsuhiko then? Seriously speaking though, Fuyuhiko doesn’t ring well in my mind.
(Well, instead of a ‘Natsuhiko’ we get a ‘Kaoruko’ … heh, close enough)
Usagi-ani appears. I kept on screaming Hayaku nigette! (a line I got from Mamo-chan in one of the DOLLS CD) in this scene. I’m so glad my parents were downstairs watching boxing or they would’ve told me to shut up. Yet another reason why I fangirled so much this week.
(and I’m going to miss the chibi faces when Junjo ends T_T)
Didn’t we already get the Ferris Wheel scenario?
Emo homo perverted Novelist? Not fun. That position is taken by Yuki.
I loved this scene so much. Usagi, despite it all, worries a lot. He’s so cute that way. It was getting old. I mean, it was always this way with Romantica. Usagi worries because Misaki’s too carefree. Though, the reason Usagi worries is because Misaki never actually relieves any of Usagi’s worries. Not truly, or enough at least.
(Something was wrong with me when I wrote that. Usagi was kinda cute but altogether, I find it annoying now. Usagi’s better when he’s got his ‘I’m so awesome but I’ll act indifferent about it’ attitude.)
And, that is what made me love love love this episode. Instead of the usual roundabout, old and tiresome ways; Misaki actually says suki to Usagi. And so damn easily at that. [insert fangirl squeals]
(A week later, I still squeal about this scene.)
Misaki under the covers? Still not old. -squeals-
Ah, by the way, I know I haven’t posted episode 7 and 8. I’ll get to it eventually. I just had to rant about episode 9 NOW or my mood would’ve gone away.
(So called NOW was a week ago)
Next week, a woman other than Aikawa shows up in Usagi’s place. I’m willing to bet it’s Usagi’s sister. I’m also willing to bet her name is Natsu-something. Natsuko perhaps?
(Close enough, it’s ‘Kaoruko’ and it’s Usagi’s cousin … plus she’s Haruhiko’s fiancee. Thank goodness it’s not Usagi’s fiancee or it’ll be Gravitation all over again. It doesn’t help that Kaoruko looks like Ayaka from Gravi … or the fact that Ayaka’s last name is also Usami. Talk about irony.)
