I’m not kidding. That title is handful. I’ll give myself a cookie when I managed to memorize it perfectly. Whose bright and ingenius idea was it to use this title and not “Munto” anyway? Or is it because the OP has “Sora o Miageru Shoujo no … (screw it)” in it? Okay, well, I’m going to make a diminutive by the end of the post. No way in hell am I writing “Sora o Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi bla bla bla …” every time … aside for in the post title.

Sora o Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai episode 1
Well hey! I actually am watching something that’s not a sequel this season! I think I’ll call “Triple S” for Sora, Shoujo and Sekai from now one. Just kidding, it’s a crappy diminutive. I’d just say “Munto” but then there’d be confusions with Munto the character. I don’t want any misunderstandings because I’m bound to rant about Munto and Kazuya in the episodes to come. That even if Munto isn’t exactly a bishie. In my definition of a bishie that is. (In compensation for that, Munto’s got a thin waist)
To be honest, even though I checked up summaries before watching the episode, the difference in character design between the OP and the episode itself totally threw me off. But that and the substantially shorter skirts of the OP compared to the episode aside, Munto’s a big-win for me. But hey, there’s never been a KyoAni anime I ever disliked. The pretty nature shots, bishies and “blowing in the wind” effect of KyoAni never ceases to get points from me. Oh yeah, but just so we’re on the same page, episode-Kazuya is just way much more hotter and bishie-material than OP-Kazuya. Huh odd. The girls looks cuter in the OP though. Aah ~ I think I miss Junjo Romantica already.
Alright, KyoAni aside, I had other reasons to watch this. Namely, Ono Daisuke and Fantasy. I don’t have a favorite genre really … since I tend to like anything from everything … but I enjoy Fantasy. Whether it be hints of fantasy type “Crow-san in Air TV” or “Girl leaps through time/into another world” … Of course, my preferred fantasy will have to contain a BL pairing I can ship and/or bishies and/or a seiyuu to moe over. Basically, the last time I got such service was from Saint Beast which I think I’ll go watch again (the OVAs because I hated the series) … Nothing beats, awesome seiyuus, thin waist and bishie angels. As for Ono Daisuke. Needless to say I love the guy.
Okay, now about the episode itself. I was thoroughly entertained. I was given just enough information to make a few foolish predictions. Which! is another reason I like fantasy. The surreal tends to make me come up with the most ridiculous guesses. I mean, romance is way boring to do any guess work … something I enjoy despite being wrong half the time. One guess I’d like to keep is Yumemi and Munto getting married by the end of the series. Haha! Well, at the least, I expect them to become an item. Yeah, all this based off that shot in ED. Also, I’d like to think Yumemi’s happy tree friend number two, Miss Loli-chan and her extremely hot-in-that-old-shiny-cool-and-quiet-bishie-way boyfriend/fiancé Kazuya-kun are going to play some role in the anime. Well, I’d be satisfied with enough screentime to get a lot of shots of him though. No seriously, I want to take Kazuya home and buy nekomimi, an apron and a waitress outfit while I’m at it. I have a sersiouly problem about that don’t I? Anyway …
I do believe someone should sue Miss Loli-chan for having such an abnormally hot bishie lover. Like Yumemi’s friend number one said, there’s a lot of injustice in the world isn’t there? If the same applied in the real world, I’d give up my tomboy-look and become a loli again.
“Look at meh man boobs!”
Okay, but back on Munto. Yes, under my qualifications, he’s no bishie. But, indeed, he’s got a thin waist and he’s voiced by a seiyuu I love. Then you add up my past extreme affection with the color red (it’s not extreme anymore), my unreasonable love for a guy who adresses himself with “oresama” and his epic “always in the wind” cape … well, Munto becomes extremely attractive. Suddenly, I don’t like Yumemi anymore.
SUBSTANTIALLY SHORTER SKIRTS TIEM! I don’t know why it bothers me or why I even noticed it in the first place. Uh oh. Waist-fetish activating. Still, Yumemi has one uh … developped figure for a thirteen year old. That’s what they said didn’t they right? Man. I need to remind myself this is anime where weird shit isn’t supposed to seem weird to me. Wait, though, if the weird crap didn’t matter I’d have something to say. Haha, scratch that reminder then.

Okay, so I’m done now. I’ve decided to shorten “Sora o Miageru … shit” to “SoraMi” because it sounds cute. Ah, just in case you’re even wondering … I have not given up the “Weekly Impressions” post. This post was originally going to be in my [01/24] post but I scrapped that idea because I had a lot to say about SoraMi. It looks like I’ve retrieved my humor and ability to write somewhat. Well, it was enough to write a post with some substance I guess. That said, episodes I watch and have a lot to say about will get their own posts. Others will be in the Weekly Impressions post. I think I’ll work with that system from now on. Though, on a last note, I think I’ll be blogging Hetalia every week consistently. I’ve become a die-hard fangirl of it and the episodes are short so no problem there.
Sounds like an odd show.
So it translates to something like.
the world reflected in the eyes of the girl who looks up to the sky?
fun.
I might try watching it…
