Junjo News: The End or not?!

Sigh.

There’s a lot of confusion about whether or not Junjo Romantica’s going to end at 12 episodes or not. I DID say that they were just going to take a break and air the remaining 12 episodes at a later date but I’m not so sure about that anymore. A lot of things are pointing towards Junjo ending this week. Plus, there’s other freaky rumors flying about but I highly doubt it’s true so I won’t bother writing it.

Anyways, I guess we’ll find out what’s really going on after episode 12 itself airs. But with the way things look, there’s a lot of chances this week is Junjo’s last.

Junjo Romantica 08

Osaka arc! I haven’t even watched this episode yet and I’m already looking forward to the next one. Whether or not that’s at good thing, I haven’t a clue. Well, that said I’m writing this post as I watch so I’m probably not going to have anything coherent again. Hai! Ikimasuu ~

(Well while the OP is playing, just wanted to say I was watching BLEACH Sonic Soul ’05 beforehand. FukuJun and Yasumoto-san are really really hot. Yusa has a lot of fangirls. Non-Tan is absolutely adorable and Miyata-san is fun. God knows how much I wanna go to a seiyuu live e-! OP’s over)

Romantica angst?! … ugh. This is the romantica arc I probably least enjoyed. The angst doesn’t really suit them. Plus, Usagi looks freaky in that shot. (Though, I’ll admit Misaki’s being a bitch … when is Usagi-nii coming? T_T)

LOLOLOLOLOL! Isn’t that Hiroki’s hat? And why does Misaki look like he’s 10 years younger? Oh god.

It’s funny how Misaki’s quick to defend Usagi without shame and it still can’t say simple words like “Suki desu!” until like volume eight or nine or whatever.

I bet Usagi wishes Suzuki could talk … yep, any minute now he’s going to go loopy and start talking to him. “I NEED MY MISAKI DOSE!!! T_T -sobsob- T_T” or something.

It’s probably because of the “angst” but … we didn’t get much chibi this episode. Which is sad since it became a sort of trademark … Suzuki-san aside. Well, I’m glad we’ll be back to slapstick Romantica after this.

How Usagi got the damn that train is a mystery. -reminds herself this is BL-

I don’t really like this arc but the train smex is one of my favorite ones … haha, if just for Misaki’s “Iyada! Hazukashii ><”

I think Japan’s trains are absolutely awesome. I wish that kind of service existed here too.

(My mom just went in my room. Man am I glad the H-scene already passed or I would’ve been screwed.)

And thus is the end of a more or less interesting episode of Junjo. Squee level? Less than zero point five. I didn’t really have fun in this arc in the Drama CDs or Manga either and the anime version was more or less the same. Well, I’m happy that they fixed the lack of BGM. The after the episode scene was Usagi’s marimo … thing.

BUT!

NEXT WEEK IS JUNJO MINIMUM!!

Junjo Romantica 07

And we’re back to Romantica after two glorious weeks of Egoist! It’s been a while Misaki, Usagi ❤ Can’t say I had time to miss you since Egoist was so damn awesome, though. I’m watching the episode as I write so I’m still hoping this episode will be as good as the past two. I highly doubt it but we’ll see. If I’m not mistaken, this episode marks the beginning of volume three for the manga. Man we’re going through things quickly. Anyways, onto the episode!

Junjo Romantica 05-06 (Junjo Egoist 03-04)

The best thing about Egoist is how clumsy Nowaki and Hiroki are. But it’s really cute so who cares! Really, I’ve never squee’d so much in a while. Especially in episode four, it was just really beautiful. I’ve also come to not mind the not-really-explicit ero scenes because well … sometimes it’s just better when they leave it up to our imagination.

Anyways, the past two junjo episodes were Egoist episodes and one of my favorite parts of the manga. Honestly, I’m really glad with how it came out. Or maybe that’s because I’m still squeeing and not really noticing the bad parts.

I didn’t noticed anything bad with the animation but I do have to not how extremely cute Hiroki was drawn in episode four. No, he was REALLY REALLY cute. I think it had something to do with his eyes but whatever it was I loved it. ((Him getting bothered about his wrinkles is absolutely MOE!! ><))

As for the episodes themselves, there was a lot of running. In both episodes 03 and 04. I actually found it funny but it got long … especially in episode three. It was fun watching this though because if you haven’t read the manga you’ll think that everything was Nowaki’s fault. In reality, it was all Hiroki’s fault though. Nowaki’s the one who had to go through the most grief actually but he’s the seme so its a given. HAHA. It’s fun how ukes always think their right and their seme’s wrong. MOERUUU ~

Miyagi turned out to be a more fun character than I thought. I didn’t hear much of Terrorist but he’s really awesome. The whole “Mai sweet-o honey~” scene made me crack so hard but then when it switched to Nowaki’s face I was like “OMGOMGOMGOMG” and crap even though I knew what was going to happen.

In episode four, I really loved how the waiting scene was done. Poor, poor Hiroki!! Waiting there in the rain. Alone. T_T -cry/sob- His monologue was absolutely GAAH. I felt so bad for him! And the worst is how Nowaki JUST missed him.

Yep, this is the angst I love from yaoi. (You know what else is neat about Egoist?! THERE’S NO FEMALES!!!)

Another great scene was the whole thing with Hiroki finding the letter Nowaki never sent. That was so sweet! Really. That’s five hundred points in my book. I went kinda trigger happy in this scene.

The after episode scene of episode five was with Misaki and Usagi. It was a short story about Suzuki get spilled with natto and Misaki becoming Usagi’s makura. KAWAII! The one of episode six was the scene where Hiroki learns the whole affair is in reality his fault. Sad realization lol.

Now to excitedly wait for the Egoist arc about Nowaki being frustrated about not being able to call Hiroki by his first name …

Junjo Romantica 04

No summary this episode because I’m kind of getting tired of it.

Junjo Romantica 04 – Anzuru yori “UMU” ga yasushi

Because they slammed both chapters of Egoist together, this episode were back to Romantica and Aikawa’s (Usagi’s editor) appearance.

Aaah ~ What a beautiful to start off the episode. Really. I always go trigger happy over all of Misaki’s expressions … and he did get a lot of extremely cute faces this episode. Like …

OMG!? WHAT ARE BOOBS DOING MY YAOI?!

Otome-mode Misaki for the win. In the manga, Misaki went to get beer from the fridge but I guess they had to censor that out too and made Misaki eat sake-filled belgium chocolate instead. -tte, doesn’t that come to the same thing?! They could’ve just made Misaki drink the damn sake. Well either way it still resulted into …

Misaki falling asleep with Usagi’s shirt. While I’m on clothes, anyone else think Misaki’s outfit was so much cuter this episode? Tho’, I think I’d love to see Misaki in clothes Necoco would wear. He’d look so adorable!! Oh fuck, I went and forgot Misaki was 18 again.

Misaki in denial (again) is so fun.

Oh the drama! It’s really fucked how Aikawa reminds me of Yuki’s sister with Reiko’s personality plus a fangirl side. By the way, the after the credits scene this episode was Aikawa telling Misaki she’s a yaoi fangirl. Oh sure she doesn’t say it directly but it comes down to the same thing.

Say, why do Misaki and Usagi have more ecchi shots than Egoist? This kinda pisses me off.

The last one is my ultime fav. Misaki’s so adorable. One thing pissing me off a GREAT deal about the H-scene are the damn text shots. Though that’ll probably ‘cuz I can’t read it and have to wait the subs for it.

Plus the texts are longer too.

OH! LOOKIE! Usagi get’s some cute chibi shots this episode too!

Sorry for the short post. This wasn’t an all that interesting episode either so yeah. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it. I enjoyed it a hell of lot. A lot of cute shots this episodes and Misaki’s “GAAH!” faces are just so funnny. Anyways, I’m glad we’re going back to Egoist next episode!

If they intend on following the manga then we should be getting three Egoist episodes in a row … unless they decided to smash the three chapters together. I really hope they don’t smash into one episode tho’ … two is fine if they don’t want to keep three. It’ll be horribly fast-paced if they put it all in one chapter. The following Egoist arc is my favorite so I want it well done.

Though when we get back to Romantica after Egoist we’ll be hearing my favorite Misaki rant. The one in Volume three, Junjo Romantica act four … or Drama CD number 2 Track 1 ❤ See I love it so much I remember where it is. It’s the one where Misaki’s fighting against himself ‘cuz he doesn’t know whether or not he and Usagi are lovers or not.

“Koibito? KOIBITO NA NO KA?!”

(OH! By the way, I finished Oofuri! -cries- Pisses me off how quickly I finished it tho’ … It was TOO SHORT. I demand a second season. NAO! MOAR MIHASHI! MOAR EYE-FUCK! I want MOAR! -cries- Maybe I’ll console myself with the manga …)
