Mei-Chan no Shitsuji Episode 01

So, with a big WTF on my face, I watched the first episode of Mei-chan no Shitsuji. I heard it was good from a couple of people so I said ‘hey, why not?’ Besides, I could use a little fawning over those lines all butlers say. Of course, if I wanted a butler, I’d still choose Kuroshitsuji’s Sebastian buuut ~ S-ranked Rihito is fine.

Mei’s a poor megane udon girl. One day, bamm bam boom! Her parents die in an accident. A bishie butler shows up (i.e: Rihito). The udon shop blows up. And ~ Mei’s forced to go to a super rich bitchojou-sama school because it turns out she the heiress to a important family. Talk about your crazy lives. Anyways, I understand what’s entertaining about the drama. The bishies. The bitches. The comedy. The foreshadowing to what I hope will be a nice plot. Hm, very interesting.

I was kind of at a loss of what to put (aside the ABOUT ME crap) but I finally decided on my TOP BL-RELATED THINGS. Damn, that was NO easy task. I could’ve gone up my Top 100 crap but that’d take too long so I decided on a mere 20. My Top 20 wasn’t in any particular order either. I tried, of course, to put some priority of my real favs but some are really just scattered.

Anyways! Onto it!

1. Matt (Mail Jeevas) from Death Note

I love Matt. I loved him even before I actually saw him in Death Note. Fucked, I know. But it’s true. Don’t get me wrong, I love Mello, Near and L all the same but Matt definitely takes the cake. He’s also one of the only characters I prefer in both Seme and Uke roles. Either way, I really don’t mind.

Everything about Matt is just yummy. His looks. His goggles. His hair. His clothes. His personality. His gaming obsession. His manner of talking and his damn cigs. Matt, I don’t care if you’re 3rd at Whammy’s you’re NUMBER ONE in my book! ❤

2. Lulu (Lelouch Lamperouge) from CODE GEASS

Lelouch vi Britannia, the exiled prince, the genius who wants to change the world to create a better world for his sister, Nunnally. Admirable? Very. How can a girl not understand the appeal that is Lelouch? He’s extremely smart, he’s attractive and a bit a naive when it comes to ‘other’ things. He isn’t at all the stoic type and is actually quite sentimental. Dude, he cares. If he didn’t why would he sacrifice his own sanity for his sister? And, unlike another certain geninus *points at Raito* Lulu has and accepts his faults. Honestly, Lulu’s little faults can make him extremely cute. This side of him isn’t much explored in the anime but you can notice it in the Sound Stories and Picture Books.

3. Usagi x Misaki from Junjo Romantica

a.k.a Usami Akihiko and Takahashi Misaki from the manga/BLCD (and soon anime) Junjo Romantica! These two are my all-time favorite couple. With good reason! Let’s start with the Seme, Usagi-sensei. At first glance looks like your typical cool, rich, composed seme but really he’s more than that. For one, he has the STRANGEST hobbies … namely collecting toys (that pile up in his crazy room). Like all semes of Usa-sensei’s type, he is pretty protective of his Uke, Misaki and tends to harass him more than is healthy. Har har. Misaki, voiced by my fav. seiyuu Sakurai-sama, is one of the best ukes I’ve ever known. It’s impossible NOT to enjoy his sudden epiphanies. Man do I love his thought pattern. Misaki has a pretty tsundere character and shies away a lot. In the 7 Junjo Romantica CDs I have listened to, I have yet to hear Misaki say “Suki!” to Usami. Sure, he comes REAL close to it in the 7th CD but he still doesn’t say it. The event itself moved the poor uke to tears.

4. Sakurai Takahiro-sama (seiyuu)

He’s probably my most favorite seiyuu out there. The first I heard his voice was either in his role as Cloud or in his role a Guiche (Zero no Tsukaima). Actually, I only JUST learned that Guiche was done by Sakupyon. I NEVER KNEW! When I watched Znt I didn’t know anything ’bout Seiyuus so … I never realized. Moving on, the role that made me into a big fan of his was probably Misaki from Junjo Romantica. Somehow, I didn’t realize it was the same voice he used for Yuuri in KKM! Hell, I only realized AFTER listening to Misaki and because of that … I started liking Yuuri too! I didn’t like Yuuri at first, that’s why. Sakurai is also one of the seiyuus I like in both Seme and Uke roles.

I didn’t write in Suzumaru Kenichi in my TOP LIST but I really wanted to. I especially love any and ALL interaction betwen SuzuKen and Sakupyon (Only the Ring Finger Knows, Oi! Tanaka-kun, …) the two just fit each other so well. And damn do I enjoy freetalks they have together! The Oi! Tanaka-kun freetalk CD in particular!

I also absolutely LOVE his singing voice! My fav songs of him being “DAY BREAK” “Eien no Ai wa Kizamareru” “I Wish” and “Taiyou to Tsuki o Daite” …

5. Oi! Tanaka-kun series (BLCD)

Tadan~~ SemexSeme … Seme ekuaru tsukkomi dakara Oi! That was SuzuKen quote from the Freetalk CD of the first Drama ~Juuban Shoubu~ Apparently they wanted to make a semexseme drama and since Seme=Tsukkomi that makes Oi! You probably don’t get the joke but that’s alright.

Tanaka-kun is definitely my favorite series out there. The drama just left a really huge impression on me. I believe I wrote I review of it somewhere in this fucked blog so I won’t repeat what I liked about it.

6. Kamiya Hiroshi (Seiyuu)

ZETSUBO SHITAA!! Omae … kiken na sonzai da … Recognize the lines? Prolly not and you prolly don’t care BUT I’ll say it anyway. The first is Itoshiki-sensei’s signature line (Sayonnara Zetsubo Sensei) and the second a line Tieria Erde (Gundam 00) tells Set-chan. Anyways, Kamiyan is my top seiyuu … prolly equal to Sakupyon or just slightly behind. His aegi koe and nose-bleed material moans in Shinayakana Netsujo put him on my radar and damn … the dot it never leaving. I have yet to listen to any of his seme roles so I can’t review on that but I have to say his uke voice is just WAAAH! I love the guy. Really.

7. Fukuyama Jun (seiyuu)

ANOTHER SEIYUU! Waaaai ~ FukuJun! I’ve loved the guy since his CODE GEASS role as Lulu! But strangely enough, what put him on the map for me was his Natsu role in Wagamama Dakedo Itoshikute. Meaning, the fact that his voice had such a range surprised me. A good kind of surprise tho! He is also a seiyuu I don’t mind in both seme and uke roles but I honestly prefer his uke roles. He has a damn cute voice!

8. DEADLOCK (BLCD)

I already wrote about how beautiful this drama is. I won’t start again. Yuutan-sama 4tw! Cheers to more DEADLOCK later this month! Check my previous posts for all about DEADLOCK! (Yeah I’m getting tired)

9. Shimono Hiro (Seiyuu)

-glomps- Shimono-san is special because I’ve loved him since the FIRST role I heard him in. In other words, since I listened to Bitter Valentine. His totally kawaii moaning did it in for me. I can’t RESIST his type of voice. As long as I don’t listen to too much of him at once, I’ll never start hating him. Besides, he has the CUTEST laugh I’ve ever heard (from Honey Special Disk)! He’s just really adorable. A definite uke! But it was fun to hear him seme someone in Love Neko (which I’ll talk about later on)! -glomps again- He wins the “cutest voice” award. His role in Wagamama and Honey are my favorites!

10. Only the Ring Finger knows

The first ever BL manga I bought. Y’see, there’s a lack of places in Montreal where you can buy actual Yaoi manga (I know of one but I’ve never actually went myself). Anyways, I say Manga because I haven’t read the novels yet … but I did listen to the Dramas! Wataru and Kazuki are just … so adorable together! Their relationship is so utterly NORMAL that you feel you can really relate to them. Ring Finger is like a normal romance shojo manga … the only difference is that their both guys! There isn’t much of the typical YAOI stereotypes in Ring Finger and I’m guessing that’s why its so popular. Angst, which is like signature to Yaoi, is like … non-existent in Ring Finger. No rape, no abusive parents or anything. Just the norm. Really, the fact that Ring Finger is so damn ordinary is what takes it apart. SakuxSuzu for Kazuki and Wataru also adds to how much I love this series!

BLCD: Shinayakana Netsujo, DEADLOCK

Shinayakana Netsujo remains to be one of my most fav. BLCDs out there. I absolutely loved the story and even the music left an big impression on me. The pacing is a bit slow but if you know mind that SN is definitely a CD to listen to. Besides, how can you NOT enjoy Miki-sama and Kamiyan together? The make an AWESOME pairing.

The first drama features the hottest H-scene I have ever listened to and damn was it LONG. Kamiyan’s uke was just beautiful and this CD is what made me total fan of his voice. No matter how many times I listen to it (which isn’t often since I turn red every time) Kamiyan’s “Nani?” never fails to steal a reaction from me. (BTW, you don’t get ANY smex before the 2nd disk but trust me, its worth the wait)

The second drama was beautiful as well. Its been a while since I’ve hear any of it but the H-scene was once again simply exquisite. The story this time around was more emotional and spoke more about Jie’s past. I can’t remember who is it that voiced the ‘antagonist’ of the drama but damn did he have a voice then put a chill down my spine. Once again, there’s no smex before the 2nd disk.

Finally, the third drama that was only recently released. Like the previous two, the story and cast is beautiful. The couple has been together for a lot longer and you can easily noticed how comfortable the two has become with each other. Since the 2nd drama was more about Jie, this one was more about Omi’s past which honestly was more angsty than Jie’s. Then again, Jie’s wasn’t angsty … just empty. Unlike the other two, I had a little more problems comprehending this drama. Overall, I knew what was going on but damn was I lost from time to time. Good thing! You don’t have to wait for the 2nd disk for some smex but because of that … the scenes are shorter. Then again, that did NOT take the fun from the drama at all.

That said, I’m looking forward to more SN! Bring on the MikixKamiyan!

DEADLOCK

Pairing: Yasumoto Hiroki x Nakamura Yuuichi

I’ve been meaning to listen to this when it got released but I never found the time. Anyways, it’s obviously Yuutan’s fault I noticed this drama and damn am I glad to have listened to it. Everything, cast, music, story (and even ART) was simply PER~FECT! I read the first chapters beforehand but the honestly didn’t leave much of an impression on me. The drama though was just … wow.

As you might’ve guessed, this drama occurs in a prison. At the beginning Yuutan’s character Yuuto is sent to Schelger (?) prison for killing his partner in the DEA (can’t remember what that is) . I’d also like to add that this whole story occurs in the United States. California, I think. At some point the CD though, you get to hear Yuutan speak spanish with another prisoner … which was real fun.

I found the pacing kind of slow to a point but the overall was just beautiful and the ending just WAAAAAH! T_T and crap.

It’s been a while since I’ve listened to something really semexseme and DEADLOCK was just beautiful. I can’t say it enough. It’s BEAUTIFUL! It was my first time hearing Yasumoto-san’s voice but he makes quite the sexy seme and Yuutan’s low tone was to DIE for.

(I listened to this drama like .. two days ago and today I watched the movie the Butterfly Effect. DAMN! During the scenes when Evan (Ashton Kutcher) was in prison, I srsly couldn’t stop thinking about DEADLOCK. It was possessing me.)

The ending is VERY OPEN. So open you just know there’s gonna have more.

And YES! There is MORE! DEADHEAT is being released April 25th!!!

BLCD: Tsuyogari

There are basically three pairings in this drama and as you can see Sakupyon has two roles! The seme role being his uke role’s older brother. God was it fun to listen to two different Sakupyon voices in the same minutes. Also! Sakaguchi-kun! Who, by the way, is Sunohara Youhei’s (CLANNAD)  seiyuu.

I was all like … YES! He does BL! Meaning, there’s is SOME chance of hearing YuutanxSakaguchi-kun after all! Why? To fullfill my TomoyaxSunohara fantasies. BANZAI! Anyways, back to Tsuyogari.

The first couple, Shiba (Sakupyon) and Onosaka-sensei (NojiKen)! The typical StudentxSensei coupling.

For the first time in a while, I can’t figure out who I like better between the seme and the uke. Shiba is the laid-back, perverted, outgoing and relaxed type guy. He is SO MUCH FUN! He like basically doesn’t care about much and says perverted crap without realizing that people don’t normally say things like that out loud. Like me kinda.

Onosaka-sensei is the …. shy, kind, adorable uke. He is … just really really cute! My favorite scene is when SuzuKen’s character (Natsuda) asked Sensei whether he was uke or seme.

“I. re. ra. ru. ho.”

*dies of bloodloss*

The second couple, Inuou and Natsuda. Basically the opposite of Shiba and Sensei with Natsuda being the more open one and Inuou the more introverted one. Inuou is the seme tho’.  These two didn’t leave much of an impression on me but … Inuou crying was fun.

The last couple, Keisuke (Shiba’s otouto) and his friend Aki. This is practically shota … but the two are in Middle School so I guess is passes. Sakupyon’s voice was really cute. Really cute. REALLY CUTE. Reminded me of his Chinko voice from Chintsubu! -dies-

The best part of the Kei-chan’s story was Shiba’s over-protectiveness! Funny how he was all panicky over Kei and Aki when he himself is gay! When Kei and Shiba were having a conversation … it was really funny ‘cuz … er, they’re voice by the same person.  Shiba’s a real hypocrite! Just because the concerned person is his little brother he gets all “ROAR!” like.

Shiba: W-what did you say?! … H-how far have you guys gone?
Kei:  … J-just k-kissing. Inu-kun’s here so can you stop?
Shiba: Shut up! Think of Inu as a part of the furniture.
Kei: I can’t do that!
Shiba: A-NY-WAYS! Don’t hang out with Aki anymore!
Kei: Nii-chan … but I-!
Inu: Shibaa … You know … you’re pretty unfair. (He says ‘mean’ but unfair makes more sense)
Shiba: HUH?!
Inu: When it was me, you told me “Be more honest!” … but when it comes to Kei-kun you’re so opposed. Isn’t that weird?
Shiba: Shut up, idiot! Don’t compare the both of you! (not sure he says that tho’)
Kei: Nii-Chan …
Inu: Ah … I just got really pissed. (hard to really translate this)
Kei: If it was going to be like this … I should’ve just accepted to have sex [with Aki] (why does it sound so much more dirty in english?)

My other favorite part was when Shiba called Sensei at the end of the track bawling for Keisuke.

^_^ This was a really really fun CD. The H-scenes were great and the character awesome. Now, to go find the manga!

Started listening to quite a few BLCDs lately. I’m too lazy to write an actual review so I’ll just write up some quick opinions on them.

The number of pairings in the first DRAMA surprised me. The cast was amazing as well. Srsly, Sakupyon topping MoriMori? I just HAD to see that! Also, anything with SuzuKen and Sakupyon together goes for me ever since The Ring Finger knows. The first CD was just a couple of one-shots with one recurring story concerning two Tanakas (Jirou and Kenji) … they were all so fun, but Escatsy wa Eien ni was my favorite one *smirk* I was so glad when I listened to the 2nd drama and realized that it was the sequel to Estasy! ‘Cept this time around MoriMori tops Sakupyon. The third drama was little more eh, angsty? Bah, not really. But the mood was definitely different. The somewhat cliffhanger-ish ending of it has left me wanting more Oi! Tanaka-kun dramas. -cries-

Loved the manga. Loved the dramas. Need the novel. NAO!!!! -dies- I simply can’t get enough of Wataru and Kazuki! They are absolutely adorable! The fourth CD was nosebleed material. I remember listening to it in the metro because I thought that their wouldn’t be any smut. The first three CDs barely had any so I was easily able to keep my cool listening to them but … the 4th was … another story. I was walking up the stairs when the scene started and well I sort of slipped and fell down the stairs. Luckily, it was only like … 5 steps or I would’ve gone to the hospital. *groans*

Seven Days – MONDAYS –> THURSDAY Nakamura Yuuichi x Fukuyama Jun

At the sight of this pairing I immediately clicked the download button. Yuutan is my latest fave in both seme and uke roles (tho’ I haven’t listened to many of his CDs). I’ve always loved FukuJun. He’s really good at giving his character personality and that’s just … so damn awesome. This time it was a Kouhai x Senpai pairing. Hell, I’m not sure which one of them is seme but it sure seems like Yuutan’s the seme so … I’mma go with that. FukuJun’s character “Shino Yuzuru” has immediately become one of my favs. He’s just … so ‘different’. He’s blunt, honest, outgoing and ‘daring’. In the first track, he’s the one who went “Go out with me” to Yuutan’s chara Seiryo.

Seiryo: Hmmm, Shino-senpai’s face is nice

Shino: (is thinking of what Seiryo would do if he asked …) Jaa, ore to tsukiatte yo. Jaa, go out with me.

I honestly died when he asked. I went ‘eh?’ at the same time Seiryo did … just a little louder and fangirl-like. Another scene that made ‘EH?!’ was the kiss scene. Damn. Shino closed his eyes just to see what Seiryo would do. I was like “WELL DAMN RIGHT HE’S GONNA KISS YOU!” … but anyways, Yuzuru and Seiryo are a really cute couple and Yuutan and FukuJun did a great job at the voicing. From the title, it looks like there’s going to have another CD for “FRIDAY —> SUNDAY” … or at least, I hope so. ><

When I finish listening to Shinayakana Netsujo 3: Azayaka Renjou, I’ll post it here too.

I have homework. I got my red highlights. I don’t want to do my homework. I’m trying a new approach at writing DC. I love ‘I am Ghost’.

Two weeks in a nutshell minus that I got my iPod.

It’s less than a week before my b-day and I find myself in a sort strange state of melancholy. I’m not depressed or anything. Just … melancholic. I’ve been thinking of a lot of crap lately. Or more like … I’m trying not to think about it but it just comes out. I keep telling myself that it was just a dream and prolly the result of too much yaoi. But that’s honestly not helping me one bit. I’d prefer not to think about it. It’s too much to sink in and I ABSOLUTELY don’t want things to really be that way. Srsly, a situation like that happening? HA?! Am I kidding myself?! I need a fucking life. Or at least something to distract me. Yaoi is not helping, for once. It’s making it worst.

No, I’ll be honest.

I’m afraid. I was already having doubts .. but up until now, I’ve been treating it as a joke. I still kind of am. But if its really that way? No. No, no, no. I can’t srsly think that. It’s probably because there was no one else. There was nothing special about it. Nothing at all.

For now, I won’t say anything.

I’ll keep it to myself.

I’ll pretend like its nothing.

Nothing has change.

I’m just being strange.
